Distance Dances is on! Susan Honer susanhoner.com and I have started our new project called Distance Dances. Our first performance will be at Connecticut College March 4-6, 2010 at the Biennial Symposium for Arts and Technology. DD is a way for us to collaborate on a live performance piece while living far away from each other. We have set up a blog to track our progress - distancedances.tumblr.com

My research paper "Investigating Emotion in Performance" will be presented at the 8th Annual Arts and Humanities conference in Waikiki January 13-16, 2010.
June 2009
Lumiere D'Ampoule was selected to be screened at the Society of Dance History Scholars Dance for Camera screening June 20, 2009. The screening will take place in the Annenberg Auditorium on the Stanford University campus from 8 to 10 pm as part of the “Topographies: Sites, Bodies, and Technologies” conference.
